Chapter 11 Browns Valley Day 2

Felicity didn’t get to sleep the night before until 11:30 P.M. She was so tired because she had to get up at 8:00 A.M., get ready for work, be down to breakfast by nine, and get to work at ten.
“I’m so tired,” Felicity said.
“Why?” Mrs. Charte asked.
“Rose and Violet snored all night and Rose also talked in her sleep and Violet was walking around all night long,” Felicity said.
“I didn’t hear anything,” Mrs. Charte said.
“Violet didn’t walk around last night, Felicity,” Rose said. “Besides, I was right next to her!”
“And Rose doesn’t snore,” Violet said. “I was right next to her too.”
“That’s enough!” Mrs. Charte said. “Get to work.”
Finally, it was time for lunch. This time, it was good. It was buffalo meat, biskets, and water.
“This is very good,” Rose said.
“Tell me about it,” Violet said.
“Can you s just shut up for one hour?!” Felicity shouted. “I’m sick of you two s talking! You talked all the from school to the hotel, Rose, you walk in your sleep, Violet, you snore, and you both are talking too much!”
Felicity took her dishes up to the window and went back to work.
“What’s with her?” Rose asked.
“She didn’t get much sleep last night because you s were snoring, talking in your sleep, and you did walk around the room,” Mrs. Charte said.
“My parents say that I don’t snore,” Violet said.
“I had a test done and the results came back saying I don’t talk in my sleep,” Rose said.
All the s went back to work. When they returned to their rooms, they showered and had free time. Felicity cheecked her e-mail and sent one to Samantha and Kirsten.
“Dear Sam Kirsten; today was a little better, but I’m tired. You see, Rose talked in her sleep, Violet walked around our room, and both snored all night long. I guess it was from the pizza we had or something. Today’s job was to rip out wet carpet and install the carpet or wood flooring the families ordered. I helped out with the taring out of the carpet and installing a new oak wood flooring, it smelled so good. I hear Mrs. Charte calling me. Bye, Felicity.”
That night for supper was hamburgers or cheese burgers with baked beans.
“I hope that Violet and Rose don’t snore tonight,” Felicity said.
That night, when it was 11:00 P.M., Rose and Violet were snoring, walking around the roo, and talking in their sleep.
“Just what I need right now,” Felicity said to herself. “It must be the cheese and/or beans.”
Then she fell asleep.
